An excelent web browser. Use instead of Internet Explorer.
The GIMP
Photo editor for enhancing, sizing, and effects on images. Also does painting.
Notepad++
Text editor for writing code with syntax highlighting. Multilingual support: HTML, CSS, Java, Perl, Python, SQL, and many others.
Winamp**
Multimedia player, for listening to music and online radio. Also plays video files.
**Contains an inappropraite sound file when you download it. Delete sound file - do not listen. Website questionable.
